2019 Key West Trip

Clearwater to Fort Myers to Key West to Fort Lauderdale and back

Randy, Pat, Craig and John ventured to Key West after a night in Fort Myers dealing with angry Canadians hoping for a wardrobe malfunction at the Firestone. After listening to donut stories and being over served at the Budda, one of the riders bounced back to Bike Night in Fort Myers where we had dinner at Capones. On the way to Key West, we stopped at Alabama Jacks for lunch for a great fish sandwich. Randy’s gas card was hacked and cancelled. Vince at the Waldorf Astoria hooked us up with Antonio’s Restaurant in Key West where great meal was had by all. After touring Mallory Square, we ate at the Hogs Breathe’s restaurant for lunch and then Blue Heaven for a great dinner. The ride back started with 57 degree temps only to warm to 64. Benny joined us in Fort Lauderdale where we ate at the Whale’s Rib. This place is a must for seafood. The final leg back started with 51 degree temps. After a stop in South Bay to Roland Marlin’s Tiki Bar for lunch, Randy split off to Clearwater on the back roads and the group bee-lined back to Fort Meyers. A great trip with a lot of laughs!
